8.0 . 3992/ IDRA/ 18G / 65.- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 18 - G of the Industries ( Development and Regulation ) Act. 1951 ( 65 of 1951 ) read with Section 21 of the General Clauses Act , 1897 ( 10 of 1897 ) , the Central Government hereby rescinds the Cement Control Order , 1961 with effect from the lat January , 1966, except as respects things done or omitted to be done under that Order before such rescission .
