CUSTOMS AND CENTRAL EXCISES

New Delhi, the 1st January 1966

G.S.R. 52.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 75 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) and Section 37 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), as in force in India, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the Customs and Central Excise Duties Export Drawback (General) Rules, 1960.

Amendment

These rules may be called the Customs and Central Excise Duties Export Drawback (General) Eighteenth Amendment Rules, 1966.

2. In the Second Schedule to the Customs and Central Excise Duties Export Drawback (General) Rules, 1960 for the existing item at Serial No. 156 and entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:—

"156, Readymade garments,"

the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. GSR-75 (55/FjiNo. 34/86/Cus. IV), dated the 28th May, 1960. namely:—

Amendment

In the Schedule to the said notification for serial No. 196 and the entries rela- ting thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:—

"196. Readymade Garments".
