New Delhi, the 7th January 1966

S.O. 161.—The following Order made by the President on January 5, 1966, is published for general information:—

ORDER

In exercise of "the powers conferred by clause (3) of article 77 of the Constitu- tion, the President hereby makes the following amendments in the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961, namely:—

In the said Rules, in the Second Schedule,1. under the heading, "Ministry of Education", for entry 47, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:— "47. Financial assistance to authors and artists or their survivors in indigent circumstances, other than those belonging to the cate- gories covered under the Scheme of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting."; and (5 )

"22A. Financial assistance to distinguished musicians, both vocal Rnd instrumental, dancers ^nd diamatists who have contributed sub- stantially to the Kuccoss of All India Radio and other Units of this Ministry, or their survives iii indigent circumstances."
