NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 16th March 1966
G.S.R. 415. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 2 ) of section 75, read with sub - section ( 3 ) of section 160, of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) , and section 37 of the Central Excises and Salt Act , 1944 ( 1 of 1944 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the Customs and Central Excise Export Drawback ( General ) Ru'es , 1960 , namely :-
1. These rules may be called the Customs and Central Excise Duties Export Drawback ( General ) thirty eighth Amendment Rules , 1966 .
2. In the First Schedule to the Customs and Central Excise Duties Export Drawback ( General ) Rules , 1960 , for Serial No. 42 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, name'y: -
"Alumina Ferric
Rs . 10.71 per metric ton"
Provided that no rebate of duty of excise leviable on the sulphuric acid used in the manufacture of alumina ferric under Item No. 14G of the First Schedule to the Second mentioned Act has been granted ,
