NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi , the 28th March 1966
S.O. 1028 .-- In excrcise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Essential Commodities Act , 1955 ( 10 of 1955 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that the power to make orders under section 3 of the said Act , fixing the prices of any essential commodities shall , to the extent indicated in clause 4 of the Essential Commodities (Regulation of Production and Distribution for Purposes of Export ) Order , 1966 , also be exercisable by the Director as defined in sub - clause ( a ) of clause 2 of the said Order .

S.O. 1029. In pursuance of sub- clause ( a) of clause 2 of the Essential Commo- dities (Regulation of Production and Distribution for Purposes of Export ) Order , 1966 , the Central Government hereby appoints Shri A. C. Banerjee , Joint Secre- tary to the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce , as Director for the purposes of the said Order .
