New Delhi , the 18th April 1966
G.S.R. 584. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of sec tion 25 of the Customs Act 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) , read with sub - section ( 4) of sec- tion 77 of the Finance Act , 1965 ( 10 of 1965 ) , the Central Government , being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby makes the following amendment to the notificationion of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue and Insurance ) , No. 55 - Customs , dated the 31st March, 1966 , namely :
In the said notification , for the words " through the Kandla port " , the words " for installation or consumption within the Kandla Free Trade Zone " shall be substituted .
