NOTIFICATIONS

New Delhi, the nth May 1966

G.S.R. 719.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Govern- ment Savings Certificates Act, 1959 (46 of 1959), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Government Savings Certificates Rules, 1965, namely:—

1. These rules may be called the Government Savings Certificates Amendment Rules, 1966.

2. In the Government Savings Certificates Rules, 1965,—

(a) In rule 7, for the letters and figures "Rs. 25,000" and "Rs. 50,000", the letters and figures "Rs. 35,000" and "Rs. 70,000" shall respectively be substituted;

(b) In Form I, for the letters and figures "Rs. 25,000/50,000", the letters and

figures "Rs. 35,000/70,000" shall be substituted;

(c) In Form IV, for the letters and figures "Rs. 25,000" in the two places where they occur, the letters and figures "Rs. 35,000" shall be substituted;

(d) In Form V, for the letters and figures "Rs. 25,000" In the two places where they occur, the letters and figures "Rs. 33,000" shall be substituted. 1. These rules may be called the National Savings Certificates (First Issue) Amendment Rules, 1966.

2. In the National Savings Certificates (First Issue) "ules, I960—

(a) In rule 5, for the letters and figures "Rs. 2B.0O0" and "Rs. 50,000", the letters and figures "Rs. 35,000" and "Rs. 70,000" shall respectively be substituted;

(b) In Form I, In paragraph (2), for the letters and figures "Rs. 20,000/

60,000", the letters and figures "Rs. 35,000/70,000" shall be substituted.
