NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 17th May 1966

G.S.R. 772—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Salaries and Allowances of Ministers Act, 1952 (5S of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Ministers' (Allowances, Medical Treatment and other privileges) Rules, 1957, namely:—

1. (i) These rules may be called the Ministers' (Allowances, Medical Treatment and other privileges) Second Amendment Rules, 1966.

(ii) They shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 25th January, 1966, (379) 380 THE GAZETTE Ol< INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PARI II-SEC. 3 (i)]

2. In the Ministers' (Allowances, Medical Treatment and other privileges) Rules, 1057, In sub-rule (2) of rule 3, for the words "and to the Minister of State in the Ministry of Irrigation and Power" the words "to the Minister of State in the Ministry of Irrigation and power and to the Minister of State in the Department of Parliamentary Affairs and Communications" shall be substituted.
