G.S.R. 817.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of rule 3 of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1957, the Chairman, after consultation with the Ministry of Finance, hereby makes the following further amendment in the First Schedule to those Rules, with effect from the 21st May, 1966, namely:—

In the First Schedule to the said Rules—

(a) under the heading "Class I—Gazetted", after the entries relating to item "3. Under Secretaries", the following entries shall be inserted, namely:—

G.S.R. 818.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of rule 8 of tb" Rajya Sabha Secretariat (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1967, the Chairman, after consultation with the Ministry of Finance, hereby makea the following further amendments in the Second Schedule to those Rules, with effect from the 21st "May, 1966, namely:—

In the Second Schedule to the said Rules—

(a) under the heading "Class I—Gazetted" after the entries relating to item "3. Under Secretaries", the following entries shall be inserted, namely:—

Private Secretary to Deputy Chairman" in column (3) showing the "Pay or scale of pay otherwise admissible" for the figures and words "Rs. 350—25—600—30—590—EB—30—800—EB~ 30—830—35—900 (Persons appointed by promotion are entitled to a minimum pay of Rs. 400)" the figures "70&—40— 900" shall be subs- tituted.
