S.O. 2005.—The following Order of the Election Commission is published for general information.
ORDER No. 9A
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Sec- tion 11 of the Delimitation Commission Act, 1962, I hereby make the following corrections in the Delimitation Commission's Order No. 9, dated the 16th Sep- tember, 1965, relating to the State of Madras, namely.—
In Table B of the said Order,
(i) in the entry against 21-Uttlramerur after the words "item (5) of the Appendix1', the words "and the village punjarasanthangal" shall be inserted;
(ii) in the entry against 22-Kancheepuram after the words "item (5) of the Appendix", the words "and the village Punjarasanthangal" shall be inserted;
(iii) for the existing entry against 24-Sriperumbudur, the following entry shall be substituted namely: —
iI O8 T HE GAZETTE OK INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [1>ART tt-src, 3(ii)] (iv) in the entry against 137-Thirupparankundivam, after the words "Iravathanallur Panchayats" the words "and Somasundaram colony" shall be inserted; and(v) in the entry Beainst 138-Madurai West after the words "Madakkulam Panchayats", the words "and Somasundaram colony" shall be inserted.
