New Delhi, the 3rd September, 1966
G.S.R. 1376.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-
s e c t i on (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of
1982), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is
necessary in the public i n t e r a ct so to do, hereby exempts
glass tubes used in the manufacture of fluorescent lamps,
when imported into India, from the whole of that portion of
the duty of customs l e v i a b le thereon which is s p e c i f i ed in
the First Schedule to the Indian Tariff Act, 1934 (32 of
1934) .
