New Delhi, the 3rd September, 1966
G.S.R. 1376.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-
nection (1) of section 25 of the Custorse Act, 1962 (52 of
1962), the Central Government, being s a t i s f i ed that it is
necesary in the public i n t e r n et so to do, hereby exempts
glass tubes used in the manufacture of fluorescent lamps
when imported into India, from the whole of that portion of
the duty of customs* l e v i a b le thereon which in s p e c i f i ed in
the F i r st Schedule to the Indian Tariff Act, 1934 (32 of
1934).
