NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 1st September 1966
G.S.R. 1432. Whereas the Central Government is of opinion that it is neces- sary so to do for controlling the rise in price and preventing the hoarding of gram in the State of Rajasthan;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 3A) of section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act , 1955 ( 10 of 1955 ) , the Central Govern- ment hereby directs that , notwithstanding anything contained in sub - section ( 3 ) of the said section 3 , the price at which gram shall be sold in any locality in the State of Rajasthan in compliance with an order made with reference to clause ( f ) of sub - section ( 2 ) of the sandsand sectionsection 3 shall be regulated in accordance with the provisions of the said sub - section ( 3A ) , and also authorises the Additional Food Commissioner, Government of Rajasthan , to determine the average market rate of gram in such locality in the State of Rajasthan aforesaid .
2. This notification shall remain in force for a period of three months .
