ORDER
New Delhi , the 19th September 1966
S.O. 2773 .-- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) read with clauses ( c) and ( e ) of sub - section ( 2 ) of section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act , 1965 (10 of 1965 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment to the Drugs Prices (Display and Control ) Order , 1966 , namely :-
1. This Order may be called the Drugs Prices ( Display and Control ) Amend- yment Order . 1966
2 In the Drugs Prices ( Display and Control ) Order , 1966 .
(1 ) for clouse ( f ) of paragraph 2. the following paragraph shall be sub- dituted , namely: -
a drug " ( f' ' wholesale price' means the price ( including the Central and State excis , duties but excluding all other taxes ) , for which is soid by a manufacturer , importer or distributor of that drug to a dealer ." :
(2) in paragraph 1, for the words " the retail price of that drug " , the words "the maximum retail price of that drug with the words ' retail price not to exceed ' preceding it" shall be substituted .
