G.S.R. 1494.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause 11 of the Sugar (Control) Order, 1066, the Central Government hereby makes the .following amendments in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Community Development and Cooperation (Department of Food) No. G.S.R. 921 dated the 10th June, 1966, namely:—
In the said notification— (1) for the item (viii) and entries relating thereto, the following item and entries shall be substituted, namely: —

In the said notification, in Schedule III, under the heading "Madras", after Serial No. 14 and the entry relating thereto, the following Serial No, and entry shall be inserted, namely: —

Com./Sugarcane.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause 11 of the Sugarcane (Control) Order, 1966, the Central Government hereby directs that the powers conferred on it by clauses 6, 7, 8 and 9 of the said Order shall be exercisable also by the Director of Agriculture/Sugarcane Commissioner of Pondicherrv and further directs that the following amendment shall be made" to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Food, Agricul- ture, Community Development and Cooperation (Department of Food).
