G.S.R. 1494.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause 11 of the Sugar (Control) Order, 1966, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Community Development and Cooperation (Department of Food) No. G.S.R. 921 dated the 10th June, 1966, namely:—

In the said notification— (1) for the item (viii) and entries relating thereto, the following item and entries shall be substituted, namely: —

Com./Sngar.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sec- tion 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), and clause 7 of the Sugar (Control) Order, 3966, the Central Government hereby makes the follow- ing further amendment to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Food. Agriculture, Community Development and Cooperation (De- partment of Food) No. G.S.R. 915/Ess. Com./Sugar, dated the 10th June, 1966, namely: — -

In the said notification, in Schedule III, under the heading "Madras", after Serial No. 14 and the entry relating thereto, the following Serial No. and entry shall be inserted, namely: —

"15. The National Cooperative Sugar Mills Ltd., A-2731, Alanganallur Post, Distt. Madurai.".

G.S.R. 1496/Ess. ConL/Suirarcane.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause 11 of the Sugarcane (Control) Order, 1986, the Central Government hereby directs that the powers conferred on it by clauses 6, 7, 8 and 9 of the said Order shall be exercisable also by the Director of Agriculture/Sugarcane Commissioner of Pondicherry and further directs that the following amendment shall be made to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Food, Agricul- ture, Community Development and Cooperation (Department of Food), G.S.R. No. 1127/Ess. Com./Sugarcane dated tho 16th July, 1966, namely: —

In the said notification, after the word; "Lieutenant Governor" the words "and Director of Agriculture/Sugarcane Commissioner" shall be inserted.

Cwm./Sugarcane.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause 3 of the Sugarcane (Control) Older, 19fifi, the Centra] Government hereby makes the following further amendment to the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Food and Agriculture (Department of Food) No. G.S.R. 1633/Ess. Com./Sugarcane, dated the 4th November, 1U65, namely: —

In the Schedule to the said notification, under the heading "Madras'', after Serial No. 13 and the entries relating thereto, the following Serial No. and entries shall be inserted, namely: —

"14. The National Cooperative Sugar Mills Ltd., A-2731, 5.36".
