G.S.R. 1498.—The following draft of certain rules, which the Central Govern- ment proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 6 of the Indian Ports Act, 1908 (15 of 1908) is published, as required by sub-section (2) of the said section, for the information of all persona likely to be affected thereby; and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration on or after the 30th September, 1966.
2. Any objections or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft before the date so specified will be considered by the Central Government.
Draft Rules
1. Short title and Commencement-(l) These rules may be called the Port of Paradip (Rates for the use of the Mechanical Ore Handling Plant and the Wharf) Rules, 1966.

Fixation of rates fat the use of Ore handling plant etc.—The rates to be charged for the use of the Mechanical Ore Handling Plant and far the use of the wharf at the port of Paradip shall be as specified in the Schedule hereto annexed.

Rates -for the use of the Whnrf Iron Ore .. .. •. ., Rs. 3 per tonne
