NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 14th December 1966
S.O. 3872. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 5 of the Conduct of Elections Rules ,ules , 1961 , the Election Commission hereby directs that the following amendments shall be made in its notification No. 56/66 ( S.O. 3367 ) , dated the 1st December , 1966 , namely : -
(i) in para 1 ( b ) of the said notification , for the words " and ( vii ) the Samyukta Socialist Party " , the words " ( vii ) the Samyukta Socialist Party and ( viii ) the Republican Party of India " shall be substituted ; and
( ii ) in the table appended to the said notification , after the existing entry 4, in column 2 against item 22 , Andaman and Nicobar Islands , the following entry shall be inserted , namely: -
" 5. Rising sun" .
