NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi , the 15th December 1966
S.O. 3882. In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the Agricultural Produce Cess Act , 1940 ( 27 of 1940 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that "cashew kernels " shall cease , with immediate effect , to be subject to the duty imposed by section 3 thereof .

S.O. 3883. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 2 ) of section 3 of the Agricultural Produce Cess Act , 1940 ( 27 of 1940 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following modifications in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Food , Agriculture , Community Development and Co- operation , Department of Agriculture, No. S.O. 1842 , dated the 16th June , 1966 , namely:-
In the said notification , in the Schedule of tariff values for 1966-67 , in the entries in column 2 under the heading " Fruits " , ---
(a) the entry Cashew Kernels , and
(b) the corresponding entries under columns 3 and 4 relating to cashew kernels , shall be omitted .
