NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 22nd December 1966
the S.O. 3959.-In pursuanceace of the provisions contained in sub- section ( 1 ) of section 13AA of the Representation of the People Act , 1950 , the Election Com- mission , in consultation with the State Government , hereby designates the District Magistrate of each of the districts of Champaran , Saran , Muzaffarpur , Darbhanga , Saharsa , Purnea , Bhagalpur , Monghyr , Patna , Shahabad and Gaya , and Deputy Commissioner of each of the districts of Hazaribagh , Santhal Parganas , Dhanbad, Singhbhum , Ranchi and Palamau , as District Election Officer of the District of which he is the District Magistrate or , as the case may be , the Deputy Commissioner .
