S.O. 4047. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 25 ct the Customs Act , 1982 ( 52 of 1962 ) the Central Government , being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do . hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue and Insurance ) No. 196- Customs , dated the 26th Ocicher , 1966 , namely :---
In the said notification in the 2nd paragrauh . for the figures . letters and word " 31st December , 1966 " the figures , letters and word " 31st March , 1967 " shall be substituted .
