NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 4th January 1967
S.O. 77. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act , 1955 (10 of 1955 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Cotton Textiles ( Control ) Order , 1948 , namely:-
(1) This Order may be called the Cotton Textiles ( Control) ( Amendment ) Order, 1967.
(2) In the Cotton Textiles ( Control ) Order , 1948 , for clause 27 , the following clause shall be substituted , namely :-
"27. Where in pursuance of sub - clause ( 1 ) ( b ) of clause 22 any piece of cloth is required to be marked at one end with the ex- factory price or with the price at which it is to be sold in retall , and the piece is not sold as a whole , that portion of the piece containing the price marking shall be sold last by the dealer . "
