8.O. 348.In pursuance of sub- section ( 2 ) of section 13AA of the Representa- tion of the People Act , 1950 , the Election Commission hereby directs that the following amendment shall be made in its notification No. 508/ AS / 66 , dated the Ist January, 1967 , namely ,-
In column 3 of the Table appended thereto , against serial No. 3 United Mikir and North Cachar Hills District and ( a ) Deputy Commissioner, United Mikir and North Cachar Hills District , for the existing entry , the entry
"Mikir Hills Sub - division " shall be substituted .
