8.0 . 348. In pursuance of sub - section ( 2 ) of section 13AA of the Representa- tion of the People Act , 1950, the ElElection Commission hereby directs that the following amendment shall be made in its notification No. 508 / AS / 66 , dated the 1st January, 1967 , namely ,-
In column 3 of the Table appended thereto , against serial No. 3 United Mikir and North Cachar Hills District and ( a ) Deputy Commissioner , United Mikir and North Cachar Hills District, for the existing entry , the entry
"Mikir Hills Sub - division" shall be substituted .
