IMPORT TRADE CONTROL

SUBJECT . Import Policy for Butyl Alcohol and Butyl Acetate falling under S. No. 22 , 31 / V- Appendix 28 to the Red Book for the period April 1966 March 1967 .
No. 13 - ITC ( PN ) /67.-Attention of the importers is invited to the policy given for Butyl alcohol and Butyl acetate S. No. 27 ( iii ) & ( iv ) under para 5 of Appendix 28 to the I.T.C..C . Policy Book (Red(Red Book)ok) for the period April 1966-March 1967 .
2. On a reviewOn a review of the position, it has been decided that the import of Butyl alcohol (Butanol ) will be allowed to actual users to the full extent certified by the sponsoring authorities.
3. It has also been decided that the import of Butyl Acetate will not be per- mitted to actual users during the current licensing period . This item may , there- fore, be deemed to have been deleted from para 5 of Appendix 28 to the Import Policy ( Red Book ) for April 1966- March 1967. Licences already issued for the import of this item will not , however , be disturbed .
