NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 4th February 1967
G.S.R. 155. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) , read with clause ( 1 ) of sub - section ( 2 ) , of section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act , 1955 (10 of 1955 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Vegetable Oil ProductsProducts Control Order, 1947 , namel namely:-
1. This Order may be called the Vegetable Oil Products Control (Amendment ) Order, 1967.
2. In the Vegetable Oil Products Control Order , 1947 , after clause 13 , the following clauses shall be inserted , namely :-
"13A . The Controller may , with a view to securing compliance with this Order, inspect or cause to be inspected any books , accounts or other documents relating to the production , supply and distribution of, or the trade and commerce in , vegetable oil products , including the pur- chase of raw materials used in the production thereof .
28B . Every producer and every dealer shall , when so directed by the Con- troller, produce such books , accounts and other documents and furnish such information relating thereto as may be required by the Con- troller."
