PUBLIC NOTICE
IMPORT TRADE CONTROI .
New Delhi , the 6th February 1967
SUBJECT : -Import of Dates [ S. No. 21 ( b ) / IV ) ] from Saudi Arabia , Muscat and other Persian Gulf Ports , excluding , Iran and Iraq , during October , 1966- September , 1967 on annual basis .
No. 19 - ITC ( PN ) / 67 .-Representations have been received in this office that at present ' dates ' are not available from Saudi Arabia .
2. It has , therefore , been decided that licences issued in terms of paragraph 4 of the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 147 - ITC ( PN ) / 66 dated 9th Novem- ber, 1966 for import of dates from Saudi Arabia , may be deemed to have been automatically validated for import from Muscat or other Persian Gulf ports excluding Iran and Iraq.
3. The Customs authorities will allow clearance on the basis of this Public Notice without any endorsement on licences .
