NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 6th February 1967
S.R.O. 1 - E.-In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub - section (1 ) of section 15 of the Cantonments Act , 1924 ( 2 of 1924 ) , the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in order to avoid administrative difficulty hereby extends the term of all the elected members of Belgaum Cantonment in col . (2 ) of the Schedule hereby annexed upto the date mentioned in the corresponding entry in Col. 3 thereof or till the date of notification of election of their successors in office in the official gazette , whichever is earlier .
