ORDER
New Delhi , the 6th February , 1967
G.S.R. 157.-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act , 1955 ( 10 of 1955 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments further to amend the Orissa Rice ( Movement Control ) Order , 1964 , namely : -
1. This Order may be called the Orissa Rice ( Movement Control ) Amendment Order, 1967 .
2. In the Orissa Rice ( Movement Control ) Order , 1964 , for the 'Explanation ' to clause 4 , the following 'Explanation ' shall be substituted , namely:-- "Explanation . For the purposes of this clause , 'border area' means hte area, inside the State of Orissa ,-
(i ) falling within a sixteen - kilometre belt in the districts of Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar , and
(11) falling wthin an eight - kilometre belt in the districts other than the districts of Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar ,
all along the border of the said State . "
