EXPORT TRADE CONTROL

SUBJECT :-Export of Raw Jute and Mesta to Nepal .
No. 5 - ETC ( PN ) / 67 .--Attention is invited to the current policy for the export of Raw Jute and Mesta as indicated in the Exports ( Control ) Order , 1962 , as amended , according to which applications for the grant of export licences for these items are considered on merits . In the case of exports of these goods to Nepal , however, no export licence was necessary . Position has been reviewed ; and it has been decided that export of Raw Jute and Mesta to Nepal will also be regulated , with immediate effect , in accordance with the provisions of the Exports (Control ) Order , 1962 .
