New Delhi , the 16th February 1967
8.O. 602 / ESS.COMM / IRON & STEEL / 15 ( 1 ) -27 ( 1 ) . The following notification Issued by the Iron and Steel Controller , under Sub - clause ( 1 ) of Clauses 15 and 27 of the Iron and Steel ( Control ) Order , 1956 as amended from time to time in published for general information. By this notification the prices of the con- trolled categories of steel have been increased by Rs . 8 ( Rupees eight ) per tonne on account of the increase in the equalised freight element , thus bringing the equalised freight on controlled categories at part with the equalised freight being charged on the decontrolled categories.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-clause ( 1 ) of clauses 15 and 27 of the Iron and Steel ( Control ) Order , 1956 as amended from time to time, and

with the approval of the Central Government . I , Shri S. Sahay , Iron and Steel Controller, hereby notify the following amendment to the base selling prices of Schedule IV ( prime quality steel ) and Schedule V, Part IA ( Fresh unused Defectives ) , publishedin Part II Section 3 ( ii ) of the Gazette of India Extra- ordinary dated 22nd April 1966 , as amended by notification published on 14th January 1987 and 4th February 1967 .
