EXPORT TRADE CONTROL .
New Delhi , the 18th February 1967
$ .0. 606. In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Imports and Exports ( Control ) Act , 1947 ( 18 of 1947 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments to the Exports (Control) Order , 1982- In the Exports ( Control ) Order , 1962 , after Clause 8C the following Clause shall be inserted , namely:-
" 8D . Powers of Iron and Steel Controller and Deputy Iron and Steel Con- troller. The powers exercisable under Clauses 8 and 8A shall also be exercisable by the Iron and Steel Controller or Deputy Iron and Steel Controller against a licensee or exporter or any other person in relation to the goods licensable by such officers , that is to say , Iron and Steel ."
