EXPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 27th February 1967
S.O. 691. In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Imports and Exports ( Control ) Act 1947 ( 18 of 1947 ) , the Central Government hereby makes thethe following further amendments to the Exports ( Control ) Order , 1962 , namely: -
InPart B of Schedule I to the said Order , for the existing entry against item No. 16 ( iii ) the following entry be substituted: --
" 16 , ( iil ) Export to U. K. of cotton manufactures whether as piece or made - up inc'uding garments but excluding :-
( a) Cotton carpets , cotton rugs , cotton durries , cotton shawls , cotton mesh bags or sacks including cotton mesh potato bags ; and , (b ) Cotton goods made by hand /handloom covering inter - alia ( 1 ) handloom cloth of lungi design oflungi design of non- fastast colours including those having bleeding properties and garments made therefrom; ( ii ) handloom striped bedspreads known as "Etawah Stripes " , and ( iii ) handmade cotton nettings" .
