NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 6th March 1967
S.O. 833—Whereas the Election Commission is satisfied that, on account of un- avoidable circumstances the election of members to the House of the People from Mahasu and Chamba parliamentary constituencies in the Union Territory of Hima- chal Pradesh cannot be completed before the date a specified in this behalf in the notification issued by it under section 30 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951;
2. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 133 of the said Act, the Election Commission hereby makes the following amendments in its notification No. 464/HP/HP/67, dated the 13th January, 1967, namely:— To the said notification the following proviso shall be added, namely: — "Provided that with respect to the election by the Mahasu and Chamba parlia- mentary constituencies—
(a) the 27th April, 1967, shall be the date on which a poll shall be taken in the area comprised within Kinnaur, Rohru, Chopal assembly const tuencies forming part of Mahasu parliamentary constituency;

"In the Election Commission's Notification No- 282/UP/Bfl, deted the 23rd January, 1967, published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary, Part II, Section :.(iij, dated the 27th January, 1967, (S-O- 352), at p. 170, in the entry against item (9) (i), for "10-Raipur Chhajamal" read "5-Mohadpur Sada".
In the Election Commission Notification No. 56/67, dated 7th February, 1967, published as S.O. 513 in the Gazette of India Extraordinary, Part II—Sec. 3—Sub- jection (ii), dated 7th February, 1907, the fol-owmg "corrections are to be made:—
fa) at page 217, in line 2, for the word ''direct", read "directs"; (b) at fi^ga 218. in item fix), for the existing entry at Sl. No. 10 read "10.
