NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 8th March 1967
S.O. 832. Whereas the Central Government , in exercise of the powers con- ferred by section 6 of the Export ( Quality Control and Inspection ) Act , 1963 ( 22 of 1963 ) , has formulated the proposal specified below and has forwarded the same to the Export Inspection Council , ' World Trade Centre' , 14 / 1 - B , Ezra Street ( 7th Floor ) , Calcutta - 1 , as required by sub - rule ( 2 ) of rule 11 of the Export ( Quality Control and Inspection ) Rules , 1964 ;
Now, therefore , in pursuance of the said sub - rule , the Central Government publishes the said proposals for the information of the public likely to be affected thereby.
2. Notice is hereby given that any person desiring to forward any objections or suggestions with respect to the said proposals may forward the same within thirty days of the date of publication of this notification to the Export Inspection Council , 'World Trade Centre ' , 14 /1B , Ezra Street ( 7th Floor ) , Calcutta -1 .
Proposals
To recognise:
(a) the specifications as declared by the exporter to be the agreed specifica- tions in the export contract for the minerals and ores specified in the Schedule annexed to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 3978 dated , the 20th December , 1965 , (b ) the Indian Standard IS : 657-1962 issued by the Indian Standards Institu- tion for calcined magnesite of the said Minerals and Ores ,
as the standard specification for the minerals and ores '
