New Delhi , the 10th March 1967
S.O. 845. Whereas a general election has been held for the purpose of constituting a new House of the People ;
And whereas the President is of opinion that the Anglo - Indian community is not adequately represented in that House ;
Now , therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 331 of the Constitution of India , the President is pleased to nominate to the House of the People the following two members of that community namely : -
( 1 ) Shri Frank Anthony , and
( 2 ) Shri A.E.T. Barrow .
