New Delhi, the 17th March 1967

G.S.R. 408.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No 153-Customs, dated the 23rd July. 1966, namely:—

In the Table annexed to the said notification, for Serial Nos. 1, 2 and 5 and the entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:—

"1. Aviation gasoline Rs. 50-55 per kilolitre at 15 degrees

of centigrade thermometer." "2. Aviation turbine fuel and Rs. 19-65 per kilolitre at 15 degrees of superior kerosene centigrade thermometer." "5. Furnace oil Rs. 20.55 per metric tonne,"2. G.8.K. 409.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 qf 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it i3 necessary In the public interest so to do, hereby directs that the following further amendment shall be made in the notification of the Govern- ment of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 153-CuKtoms, dated the 23rd July, 1966, namely:—

In the Table annexed to the said notification for the existing entries against Serial Numbers 3 and 4, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:—

"3, Inferior kerosene RH. 51-60 per kilolitre at 15 degrees of

centigrade thermometer."

"4, High speed diesel oil Ra. 8-00 per kilolitre at 15 degrees of

centigrade thermometer."

2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force on the 16th day of December, 1968.
