NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi, the 20th March 1967 S.O. 973.—Whereas' a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the death of Shri Sadashiv Govind Barve elected to that House from the Bombay North East Parliamentary Constituency in tho Slate of Maharashtra; Now, therefore, in pursuance of the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 149 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, the Election Commission hereby calls upon the said constituency to elect before the 29th April, 1967, In accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders made thereunder, a person to fill the vacancy so caused-

S.O. 974.—In pursuance of the provisions of section 30 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, the Election Commission hereby appoints, with respect to the bye-election to be held in the Bombay North East Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Maharashtra in pursuance of its notification No- 100/MT-HP/2? 67(1), dated the 20th March, 1967,—
(a) the 27th March, 1967, .as the last date for making nominations; (b) the 28th March, 1967, as the date for the scrutiny of nominations; (c) the 30th March, 1967, as the last date for the withdrawal of candi-
