New Delhi , the 25th March 1967
No. 1539 - PTI / 67 .-- The President hereby directs that, with effect from the 1st April , 1967 , the following further amendments shall be made in the Rules relating to Postal Life Insurance and Endowment Assurance , namely :-
In the said Rules , after rule 43 , for Table I and II , the following Tables shall respectively be substituted , namely :-

NOTE 1. For the purpose of this table " age at entry " means the age next birthday following the date of paymentent of the first premium .
NOTE 2. For a policy of Rs . 4,000 or above , rebate at the rate of 5 paise per month per thousand sum assured is allowed .
NOTE 3.-Wherever the monthly premium arrived at for a policy is not in multiples of 5 paise , twould be rounded off to the next higher 5 paise unit .
