8.0 . 1114.- In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub - section (1) of section 11 of the Post- Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research , Chandigarh , Act , 1966 ( 51 of 1966 ) , the Central Government hereby appoints, with effect from the 1st April , 1967, Dr. S. S. Anand, as thethe Director of the Post- Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research , Chandigarh .

8.O. 1115 .-- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 2 ) of section 1 of the Post - Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research , Chandigarh. Act , 1966 ( 51 of 1966 ) , the Central Government hereby appoints the first day of April , 1967 , as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.
