8.0. 1114. - In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub - section (1) of section 11 of the Post- Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research , Chandigarh . Act , 1966 (51 of 1966) , the Central Government hereby appoints , with effect from the 1st April , 1967 , Dr. S. S. Anand , as the Director of the Post -Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh.

8.O. 1115.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 2 ) of section 1 of the Post - Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research , Chandigarh . Act, 1966 ( 51 of 1966 ) , the Central Government hereby appoints the first day of April, 1967 , as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.
