NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi, the 31st March 1967
S.O. 1122.—Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the resignation of Shrimati Vijaya Raje Scindia elected to that House from the Guna Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Madhya Pradesh.
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 149 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, the Election Commission hereby calls upon the said constituency to elect before the 4th May, 1967, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders made thereunder, a person to fill the vacancy so caused.

S.O. 1123,—In pursuance of the provisions of section 30 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 the Election Commission hereby appoints, with respect to the bye-election to be held in the Guna Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Madhya Pradesh in pursuance of its notification No. 100/MP/HP/4/67(l), dated the 31st March, 1967.
(a) the 7th April, 1967, as the last date for making nominations; (b) the 8th April, 1967, as the date for the scrutiny of nominations; (c) the 10th April, 1967, as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures; (d) the 30th April, 1967, as the date on which a poll shall, if necessary, be
taken; and
