NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 20th April 1967
G.S.R. 576.-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 11 of the Salaries and Allowances of Ministers Act , 1952 ( 58 of 1952 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Ministers ' (Allowances Medical Treatment and other privileges ) Rules , 1957 , namely: - 1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Ministers 'ers ' ( Allowances , Medical Treatment and other privileges ) Amendment Rules , 1967 .
(2) They shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 13th March, 1967 .
2. In the Ministers ' ( Allowances , Medical Treatment and other privileges ) Rules , 1957 , for sub - rule ( 2 ) of rule 3 , the following sub - rule shall be substituted , namely : - " ( 2 ) There shall be granted to the Minister of Works , Housing and Supply , to the Minister of Irrigation and Power and to the Minister of State in the Departments of Parliamentary Affairs and Communications , a sumptuary allowance of Rs . 250 / - per mensem . "
