8.0 . 1541. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1) of rule 5 of the Conduct of Elections Rules , 1961 , the Election Commission hereby directs that in the notification No. 56/66 ( SO . 3667 ) , dated the 1st December , 1966 as amended by notifications No. 56 / 66 - II ( S.O. 3872 ) , 56 / 66 - III ( S.O. 4035 ) , 56 / 66 - IV (S.O. 4041 ) , 56/67 ( S.O. 513 ) and 56 / 67 - I ( S.O. 923 ) , dated the 14th , 28th , the 29th December , 1966 , the 7th February and the 14th March , 1967 respectively , the following further amendments shall be made and shall be deemed to have been made with effect from the 30th March , 1967 , namely :-
In the Table , in column 2 , against the item " 9. Maharashtra " , below the entry 13. the following entries shall be added :
" 14. Ladder 15. Flower" .
