G.S.R. 626.—The following Order made by the President is published for general information:—
THE DELIMITATION OP COUNCIL CONSTITUENCIES (MYSORE) AMENDMENT ORDER. 1967.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Representation of the People Act, 1930 (43 of 1950), the President, after consulting the Election Com- mission, is pleased to make the following Order further to amend the Delimitation of Council Constituencies (Mysore) Order, 1951, namely:—
1. This Order may be called the Delimitation of Council Constituencies (Mysore) Amendment Order, 1987.
2. In the Delimitation of Council Constituencies (Mysore) Order, 1951—
(1) in the Table below paragraph 2,—
190 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY fP*m n-iwMlt'H(to) under the heading "Teachers' Constituencies", for the words and brackets "Bangalore (Urban), Bangalore, (Rural)" occurring in column 2 against the entry "8. Mysore South-East Teachers'^ the word "Bangalore" shall be substituted;
(c) under the heading "Local Authorities' Constituencies" for the words and b ackets "Bangalore (Urban) and Bangalore (Rural) districts" occurring in column 2 ' against the entry "16. Bangalore Local Authorities", the words "Bangalore district' shall be substituted.
(2) In uaraKraph 3 for the figures, letters and words "1st day of AnrlL 1B65", the figures, letters, and words "lgt day of September, 1966 shall b" substituted.
