NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 11th May 1967
S.O.1718-D.—Whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Act, 1963 (22 of 1963), the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce No. SO. 2842 dated 23rd September, 1966, should be amended as mentioned hereunder so as to include Super Fine Unsoaked coir yarn;
And whereas the Central Government has formulated the proposals in the form of amendments as specified below for the said purpose and has forwarded the same to the Export Inspection Council, as required by sub-rule (2) of rule 11 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Rules. 1964;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the said rule, the Central Government hereby publishes the said amendments containing the proposals for the information of the public likely to be affected thereby-

Amendments
In the said notifications —
(A\) In paragraph 4 —
(i), for the words "fourteen trade varieties" (the word?; "fifteen trade varieties" shall be substituted.

Hand spun yarn; spun from clear coir iibre extracted from practically un- soaked green husk; golden yellow in colour; slightly more hairy than Fine Unsoaked; containing negligible quantity or no quantity of pith; medium twisted i.e. sllffhtly harder twisted than Fine Unaoaked but softer than Hard Unsoaked; usually spun in the scorages ranging from 9 to 12 "
