New Delhi , the 12th May 1967
8.O. 1719 - A.-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 17 of the Export (Qua'ity Control and Inspection ) Act . 1963 ( 22 of 1963 ) , he Central Government hereby makes the followingfollowing rule.rules further to amend the Export of Gum Karaya ( Inspection) Rules , 1965. published in the notification of the Government of India in the Minisrty of Commerce No. S.O. 358 dated the 28th January , 1966 , nainely :
1. These rules may be called the Export of Gum Karaya ( Inspection ) Amend- ment Rules , 1967 .
2. In the Export of Gum Karaya ( Inspection ) Rules , 1965 , for rule 4A, the following rule shall be substituted , namely:-
"4A. Packing and Marking . The gum karaya shall be packed in clean and new doub'e gunny bags and the outer bag shall be marked:
"Gum Karaya for food and pharmaceutical use" .
