NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 15th May 1967
G.S.R. 713.- In pursuance of sub - section ( 7 ) of section 4 of the Press Council Act, 1.65 (34 of 1965 ) , it is hereby notified by the Central Government that the Speaker of the House of the People has , in pursuance of the provisions contained in sub - sections ( 3 ) ( d ) and ( 4 ) of section 4 of that Act nominated the following two members of the House of the People to serve as members of the Press Council of India:-
1. Shri R. M. Hajarnavis ,
2. Shri S. K. Sambandhan .
2. The following amendment is also notified , namely :-
In the notification of the Government of India in thehe Ministry of Information d Broadcasting , No. G.S.R. 1759 dated he 16th November , 1966 , for sub -para- and
graph ( b ) , the following sub - paragraph shall be substituted , namely :- "(b ) the Speaker of the House of the People has nominated Shri R. M Hajarnavis and Shri S. K. Sambandhan ; and" .
