NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 15th May 1967
S.R.O. 15/E.-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 184 of the Navy Act , 1957 (62 of 1957 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following regu- lations to amend the Navy ( Discipline and Miscellaneous Provisions ) Regulations , 1965 published with the notification of the Government of India , in the Ministry of Defence , S.R.O. No. 2E , dated 6th February , 1965 , namely:----
1. These regulations may be called the Navy ( Discipline and Miscellaneous Provisions ) (Amendment ) Regulations , 1967 .
2. In the Navy ( Discipline and Miscellaneous Provisions ) Regulations , 1065,- (1 ) in regulation 208 for sub - regulation ( 9 ) , the following sub - regulation shall be substituted , namely :-
" ( 9 ) On receipt of the minutes of the proceedings including the report from the Board , the convening authority shall,-
(a) take such action as is within its jurisdiction and as it may deem fit to take : and
(b ) submit the same together with its comments thereon to the higher authority-
(1 ) if required to do so under the orders issued from time to time by the Chief of the Naval Staff : or
( ii) if the convening authority deems it necessary so to do . "
