NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 24th August 1967
G.S R. 1291 / Ess . Com./Sugar.-In exercise of the powers conferred by clause 15 of the Sugar ( Control ) Order , 1966 and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Food and Agriculture ( Department of Food ) No. G.S.R. 90 / Ess Com./Sugar , dated the 28th July. 1960 , the Central Government hereby directs that the powers conferred upon it by clause 3 of the said Order shall be exercisable also by the State Governments of Andhra Pradesh , Assam , Bihar , Gujarat , Kerala . Madhya Pradesh , Madras , Maharashtra , Mysore , Orissa , Punjab , Rajasthan . Uttar Pradesh , West Bengal and Haryana in respect of manufacture of sugar by vacuum pan process within their respective jurisdiction.
